While the majority of Wii’s most celebrated titles came from Nintendo itself, it’s worth remembering that plenty of great, innovative games were provided by third parties; de Blob is one such title. The critically-acclaimed title found its way onto other modern platforms last year, but it will soon be coming Switch, as well.
The game puts players in control of the titular character, a paint absorbing blob on a mission to return color to a world oppressed by a monochromatic regime. In addition to the platforming gameplay of the single player campaign, the game also includes local multiplayer for up to four players.
While an exact release date has yet to be announced, THQ Nordic did confirm this port will be out sometime this year.
