Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions has a release date: the game is coming to Nintendo Switch on August 28.
The soccer-meets-anime sports title is based on the Captain Tsubasa manga and anime, which revolves around soccer player Tsubasa Oozora and his friendships, rivalries, and soccer matches. Players will rise through the ranks of various soccer leagues, playing through matches featuring over-the-top signature shots and powerful offensive and defensive moves.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will feature Story, Versus, and Online Versus modes, with single player, co-op multiplayer, and competitive multiplayer gameplay. Look out for it on August 28!
