Capcom Beat ‘Em Bundle is a great dive into a truly classic pool of brawlers from when arcades were at their peak of popularity. We rather enjoyed it when it launched on Switch back in September, but did note a couple of deficiencies, including some rough online multiplayer and a lack of screen filters for that authentic, retro feel of yesteryear. Well, Capcom was listening to us fans, as most of these problems will be addressed in a free update coming next month. Here are the details:
Captain Commando has heard you! We will be pushing an update for Capcom Beat ‘Em Up Bundle in November.

New Screen Filters – Transport yourself back to the arcades with new scanline/arcade filter options.
New Screen Size– In addition to the full screen size, there is now the option to display the screen in its original size to fit more types of screens.
ON/OFF Toggle for Mid-session Joining– When creating a lobby, there is now an option to turn off the ability for other players to join your in-game session.
You can take a look at some of these changes in the images, below:
Capcom says it will notify everyone when the update is live via its Twitter and Facebook channels. We, of course, will do the same! We’ll also revisit our own review and revise if necessary, so keep it tuned to Nintendojo for all the latest.
