Nintendo has released a steady stream of new content for its hit multiplayer shooter Splatoon ever since the game launched this past May, and that trend will only continue with the addition of another new map called Camp Triggerfish, which will join the rotation tonight at 7 PM Pacific Time.
As its name implies, Camp Triggerfish is fittingly based on a campground. Battles on this particular map unfold across a series of wooden bridges, which link your team’s base with your opponents’. Each base also has its own set of floodgates, which open at different points in the match to give you– and your foes– easier access to the entire splatterfield. In Turf Wars, the floodgates lower when there’s only a minute remaining on the clock, allowing both teams to rally late in the game; in Ranked Battles, they remain open throughout the entire battle.

Are you looking forward to visiting Camp Triggerfish tonight? Which has been your favorite Splatoon map so far? Let us know in the comments!
