If you’ve been hankering for Mario Kart-inspired, Disney racing action, look no further than Mickey’s Speedway USA Disney Speedstorm. Developed by Gameloft, the game is set to bring blistering speed with a Walt Disney veneer smeared all over it. With an IP catalogue that would make even Nintendo blush, Disney at the very least has enough characters and worlds to justify a kart racing game of this ilk. Speedstorm was originally announced back in 2022 and was supposed to launch later that year, but alas has slipped into an early access campaign beginning this coming April 18.
If you’d like to be among those at the starting line right from the outset, you’ll have to purchase one of three different variations of the game’s Founder’s Pack. Let’s take a look:
If you’re wondering about the whole purchasing versus free-to-play thing, given Speedstorm was touted as a live service title, note that eventually the game will indeed be playable at some point without having to fork over any cash. The Founder’s Pack seems squarely aimed at Disney diehards. As stated above, there are three tiers of Founder’s Pack to choose from—Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate. Here is the breakdown of each:
