Ubisoft has spent the better part of two months denying their popular Assassin’s Creed series would be coming to Switch, not of course counting the streaming version of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, only available in Japan. After a number of listings across various retailers and even a recent but brief appearance on the publisher’s own website, Assassin’s Creed III Remastered has finally been confirmed for Nintendo’s newest console.
The game was confirmed during Nintendo’s latest Direct and features a number of visual upgrades over the original. The package also includes the game’s (even more) alternate history DLC casting George Washington as a tyrant, and its female led, New Orleans based PS Vita spin-off, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation.
Assassin’s Creed III Remastered will be available May 21.
