Gamers who are looking forward to Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer and still haven’t upgraded their 3DS will have the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone– assuming, of course, they live in the UK, Australia, or New Zealand. When the game launches in these territories in October, consumers will be able to pick up the game alongside special edition systems and faceplates to complete the Animal Crossing look.

The game will launch on October 2 in the UK and October 3 in Australia and New Zealand, alongside a bundle featuring a download code for the game and a Animal Crossing-themed New 3DS XL. For gamers who want the smaller New 3DS, there will also be a bundle including the game, a white system, and an Animal Crossing faceplate; however, this bundle will not reach Australia and New Zealand until later in 2015. If you already have a New 3DS or you don’t like the included faceplate, there will also be a line of several Animal Crossing-themed faceplates sold separately. But that’s not all for the bundling, because the game will also be available with the NFC Reader/Writer, which will allow original 3DS and 3DS XL players to take advantage of the new line of Amiibo cards used to unlock new characters and items to use in the game.

Pricing for all these items in the UK was not available at the time this was written, but it had been announced for Australia and New Zealand. The New 3DS XL plus the game will cost AU$269.95, a copy of the game by itself will cost AU$59.95, the NFC Reader/Writer will go for AU$29.95, the two bundled together will cost AU$69.95, the new faceplates will cost AU$17.95 each, and three packs of Animal Crossing Amiibo cards will be AU$4.95.

Hopefully we’ll see similar deals announced for the rest of the world, as well.
