Hey guys,
Yeah I think a $5 price hike on software is reasonable. Personally I pay $40 for a variety of recent PSP such as FF Dissidia, Valkyria Chronicles 2, Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker etc. These to me have been well worth it at $40 so I’m sure 3DS high profile titles will be more than well worth $40. Though I would hope the remakes are cheaper but doubt they will be. Keep in mind when PSP launched games were $40-50 and the market forces naturally moved it back to $30-40. I doubt 3DS games will be $50 and if they are the market forces will push them back down eventually. I’m still irked by the hardware price though.
Oh to Lucas. Since this episode the NBA JAM HDs are being stand alone games cause Elite is delayed. I doubt I’ll doubt I’ll get jam but if I was exited about it and only owned Wii I’d probably be pretty annoyed.
Just wanted to make a brief comment on one of the topics, as I don’t have much time. About the desire to take games with you which you are playing on consoles to handhelds etc… there is something like this on the ps3/psp at the moment. You can transfer saves between the psp & ps3 for games compatible with both.
For instances with FF7 or Persona which are on the PSN, they are compatible with psp & also ps3 so I can play it on the ps3 then quickly xfer the save to my psp & continue playing & progressing when I’m out of the house etc.
I’m not sure if this is the kind of thing you were talking about as I’m a little medicated right now, but this is what I thought of when you were talking about it. It would be awesome if wii/ds could do this as well.
