5. Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego (SNES, 1993)
This is just ludicrous. Let me discuss my utter confusion. First, everyone is dressed in Victorian era garb. Second, there’s some sort of weird, sci-fi contraption that looks like a Virtual Boy store-display someone might have found at Blockbuster and Babbages 17 years ago. Third, I want to know why everyone’s looking so damn shocked! Show me! Let me in on the secret! This is like that Meat Loaf song where he says he’ll do anything for love, but he won’t do “that” but then never specifies what “that” is. Gah!!! I need closure! This sort of thing gives me anxiety. Anyhow, I guess all I really need to know is, can I get a ride on that presumed time machine thing so I can go back and erase this entire image from the far reaches of my mind? Because I’d be better off not being able to recall this debacle.
I’ve got to disagree. Iron Sword’s box art is amazing.
Im with you on this one, that box is amazing, looks like the mule box, and also like connan, which in my book is pretty awesome.
You’ve just go to know there is a very interesting story about how that particular box art came to be.
Tell me about it.
HA! I never did like Where in Time. They’re looking shocked cause Carmen just popped out of nowhere, but I have to agree; it DOES look like a bad Meatloaf video!
The worst of the buch is the blue haired dude one, yuck!
And the sad thing is, that game is actually quite good. I remember playing it back when I was a kid, and I had a lot of fun with it. IGN seemed to like it a lot too. http://m.ign.com/articles/2003/01/15/karnaaj-rally
Yeah 8.8 is a high review, checking it.
