Another Maximus Cup is coming to Tetris 99, this time the 56th such contest. It brings with a it a very timely theme (as is regularly the case), this time one based on Splatoon Raiders, which just came to Nintendo Switch 2 last week. Here’s your first look at the new cup:
Maximus Cup 56 will kick off on August 7 and end August 10, 2026. To participate, you’ll need to have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription, and from there you can download the game and get to playing. However, to keep the skin, you’ll need to earn 100 event points before the cup ends, so be sure to stick with it if you want that Splatoon Raiders theme beyond the weekend.
