Super Mario Bros. Wonder is already a wonderful (a pun!) game, but apparently Nintendo thinks it can stand to be just a bit more wonderful… er. Or perhaps fuller is a real word better description, as the game is set for an ambitious DLC expansion come the spring of 2026. Dubbed Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park, here’s your first look at what to expect:
Some of the challenges that players can look forward to include:
- Collect the most coins against other players
- Phanto Tag, where players will run and hide from each other
- Team up to pass a Bob-omb to the goal
