After weeks of speculation (and going without a June Nintendo Direct broadcast for the first time since 2012), the rumors have been proven correct: a Nintendo Direct is indeed happening in July, albeit right at the end of the month and a Partner Showcase, to boot. Here’s the announcement that Nintendo made via its official X account:
Join us for a #NintendoDirect Partner Showcase tomorrow, July 31, at 6am PT! Tune in for roughly 25 minutes of information on upcoming #NintendoSwitch2 and #NintendoSwitch games from our publishing partners.

Tomorrow, July 31, 2025, fans can tune in at 6 AM PST for 25 minutes of footage showing off upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch projects coming from Nintendo’s third-party publishing partners. With Donkey Kong Bananza and Mario Kart World both out in the wild, not to mention the various launch titles that dropped alongside the console, it’s unclear what’s in store for Nintendo Switch 2. Although it would be nice to hear Nintendo’s plans beyond Pokemon Legends: Z-A and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, at least fans will get a sense of what other developers have coming up.
What do you think or hope will be announced tomorrow? Share with us in the comments and on social media!
