Can you guess which ones?

13AM Games, the developer behind the couch co-op madness simply known as Runbow, has revealed that its game will be getting multiple quest appearances from other Wii U indie heroes. These characters will include Juan and Tostada from Guacamelee!, Shovel Knight from Shovel Knight (well, duh), Rusty from SteamWorld Dig, Commander Video and Commander Girl Video from the Bit.Trip. series, Swift Thornebrook from Sportsball, and Scram Kitty himself, but without his buddy on rails. Guest characters are nothing more than just re-skins, but hey, who wouldn’t want to look like Shovel Knight, while playing Runbow?

Personally, I’m very glad to see this kind of announcement. It makes it feel like all of the aforementioned games combine into one big family of Nintendo indie games. Characters like Shovel Knight became so popular that they might even make into Smash Bros. at some point, but it’s also nice to see lesser known guys like Scram Kitty also make an appearance.

What other characters from indie games do you think deserve a spot in Runbow? My choice is Armillo.
