The Fortnite x TMNT Cowabunga is a new collaboration featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This new update has added Shredder and Master Splinter skins, along with a new pass for the Shredder skin, the edit style, emotes, pickaxes, and more! There has been an addition to the weapon list as well. Now there is Leonardo’s Katanas, Raphael’s Sai, Michelangelo’s Nunchaku, and Donatello’s Staff. All the weapons have the same abilities with varying stats depending on which is used. These abilities are:
- Attack: Hold the primary fire button to swing, swing, and keep swinging.
- Air Attack: Press the primary fire button in-air for a devastating air attack.
- Dash Attack: Press the secondary fire button to charge with your weapon.
- Double Jump: With one of the weapons equipped, jump while you’re already in the air!
Both the drift boards and the pizza party box will be returning to the game with all new looks to match each of the turtles. By completing challenges you gain ooze which counts as currency toward the Shredder pass and all that cool ninja turtle stuff. This collab will have six phases: Stick to the Shadows, Gear Up!, Cowabunga Clash, Give ’em Shell, Showdown Shred, and Shellebrate. After you complete five quests in a phase you will receive a Krang blueprint. and after collecting all six blueprints, you unlock the Krang back-bling. Along with the main Fortnite game, TMNT skins will also be available in LEGO Fortnite.
The crossover will end on February 27, 2024.
