The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak is set to launch in the West on July 5, 2024, for Nintendo Switch. The game follows a new cast of characters in the Trails series within the region of Calvard, focusing on the protagonist Van Arkride, a spriggan who takes on different roles like detective and bounty hunter. The game, which is developed by Nihon Falcom Corporation and published by NIS America, features an evolution of the traditional turn-based battle system called the Action Time Battle system and introduces an Alignment system that impacts the story based on the player’s choices between Law and Chaos. This release marks the start of the Calvard arc in the Trails series, following previous titles like Trails into Reverie and preceding Kuro no Kiseki II -CRIMSON SiN-.
