Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, the latest entries in the longtime series, has been touting the launch of its DLC expansion The Indigo Disk for months now. The second half of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, fans have known since March that The Indigo Disk would be releasing at some point before the end of this year, but now we finally have the date: December 14, 2023. Here’s the announcement from The Pokémon Company:
Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk launches on December 14!

As a reminder, here’s what fans can expect from The Indigo Disk when it launches:
In this adventure, you’ll be transferred from Uva Academy to its sister school, Blueberry Academy. Unlike Uva Academy, with its long and rich history, this school was only recently established and has a focus on teaching Pokémon battles. What’s unique about Blueberry Academy is that a large part of it is actually in the sea! Attend lessons, mingle with the local students and experience a new school life that’s anything but ordinary.
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero sells for $34.99 and is available directly from the Nintendo Switch eShop. You can download and play The Teal Mask, the first part of the expansion, right now before The Indigo Disk launches next month. Keep in mind that you must own either a physical or digital copy of Pokémon Scarlet or Violet in order to play—and that the DLC must be purchased separately for each version of the game.
