The curtain has been pulled back on the 12 games being added to Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration. Teased the other day, here are all of the games, which are a mix of homebrew, prototype, and official releases. You can also glimpse them in this trailer:

It’s pretty great to see Atari continuing to add to this compilation, especially for free—simply update Atari 50 and the games are yours to play. The work being done by studios like Digital Eclipse to preserve the history of the industry is something that future generations of fans will be very grateful for as original hardware and software continue to whither away and become more inaccessible.
