Snuck in among all of the other big announcements during the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct back in April was the latest project from Shin’en. Fast Remix is the latest entry in the venerable racing series, a series that is frankly eating Nintendo’s lunch when it comes to F-Zero-style racing games. The futuristic racer was last seen in 2017’s Fast RMX on Nintendo Switch (incidentally, it was also a launch title for that that system). Now, a new installment will be hitting the eShop day-and-date with Nintendo Switch 2.
Here’s the launch trailer:
Fast Fusion features the same blisteringly-fast racing of its predecessors, but this time around players will have the chance to create vehicle fusions (see what they did there?). Combine over 100 racers and create something new to go screaming down the racetrack in. Fast Fusion will also be supporting HDR output as well as 5.1 surround sound. And if you’re looking to play with a friend (or friends), Fast Fusion offers GameSharing and local two to four-player splitscreen multiplayer.
If it’s anywhere near as fun as Fast RMX, Fast Fusion should be a promising early release for Nintendo Switch 2. Definitely have this one on your radar come launch day.
