Nintendo Switch got a lot of great indie games last year, and SteamWorld Dig 2 was easily among the best. Unfortunately, the game was only released for download on the eShop, however rumors recently began to emerge that it would follow in the footsteps of other major indie titles and get a physical release. Now we can confirm those rumors are correct!
Rising Star Games has announced they are partnering with developer Image & Form to bring copies of SteamWorld Dig 2 to retail stores in North America and Europe. Aside from a physical box and cartridge, the game will include a double-sided poster.
This version of the game doesn’t have a solid release date yet, however it should come out sometime this spring.
