Looks like Nintendo dodged a legal bullet! Two lawsuits accusing the company of peddling glitchy Nintendo Switch Joy-Con have been tossed out of court. According to Game File, the cases—Diaz vs. Nintendo from 2019 and Carbajal Vs. Nintendo from 2020—are now history.
Both Nintendo and the parents who brought the suits on behalf of their kids agreed to drop the cases. These lawsuits join a growing list of Joy-Con drift complaints that have been dismissed over the years. Back in 2019, Nintendo began offering free repairs for the controller amidst a lawsuit filed earlier that year. As VGC reported, Nintendo issued an apology for the drifting issue the following year.
