Shin’en’s latest installment in its futuristic racing series, Fast Fusion, launched alongside Nintendo Switch 2 back in June. Like its predecessor, Fast RMX, Fast Fusion looks to be set for a number of updates as time goes by. RMX was stuffed with new concept post-launch, and the first of Fusion’s will be arriving today.

Version 1.4 of the software is bringing along the requisite bug fixes and such that one would expect, but it’s also touting something a bit more interesting: Photo Mode. In it, players can freeze the action and take snapshots of all the gorgeous racing mayhem on the screen. From Fusion’s sleek racers to its creative courses, there’s a lot to appreciate when it comes to the aesthetics of this game, so Photo Mode should be a welcome addition. Here are the full patch notes, for those who are interested:

  • New Photo Mode added
  • Fixed an issue where the wrong music played in ‘Zenshoh Habitat’ track
  • Fixed an issue in ‘Alpine Trust’ track where the map was too large
  • Fixed a rare issue where you could hit ‘invisible’ walls in higher leagues with certain vehicles

We also included a small gallery of images of Photo Mode up above, as well. Have you downloaded Fusion? Does Photo Mode make you more interested in playing it? Tell us what you think down below!
