Pokémon Legends: Z-A was teased back in February of last year. Since then, there hasn’t been much said about the game, leaving fans wondering exactly what the game might be like and when they’ll be able to play it. Today during the Pokémon Presents broadcast, Pokémon Legends: Z-A was finally shown off in detail, and, well… let’s see what you think:
Let’s dig into what the trailer tells us. First off, visually the game does not embrace the aesthetic of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, instead looking a lot more along the lines of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This has divided some folks online who were hoping Pokémon Legends: Z-A would lean more into that game’s visual style. On the gameplay front, however, fans get a gander of Mega Evolutions, Wild Zones, realtime Pokémon battles, and even the chance to explore rooftops in Lumiose City.
As for starts, players can choose between Chikorita, Totodile, and… Tepig. It’s an interesting assemblage, to say the least, but hey, everyone has a favorite Pokémon—maybe this will be a chance to discover a new one? Pokémon Legends: Z-A doesn’t have a firm release date, but we do know it will come out in late 2025. Let us know what you think of the game so far down below and on social media.
