To commemorate Pokemon Day, the next pair of Pokémon games has been announced. Pokémon Legends: Z-A looks exactly what it sounds like, a game in the style of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Coming to Switch in 2025, a new adventure is set in Lumiose City, known as the major city in Kalos region and featured prominently in Pokémon X and Y on Nintendo 3DS.

Here is a look at today’s trailer:

There has not been any mention of an exact release date yet, but fans are excited for Mega Evolutions to make a comeback. The trailer also reveals a peak of an “urban redevelopment plan” in Lumiose City. Which has many wondering, is Legends Z-A going to be a prequel or sequel of some kind to Pokémon X and Y? Are we going into the future? Where exactly is this “redevelopment” placing Kalos in the timeline? We still have a whole year to wait for the release.

Keep on checking back with Nintendojo as more content gets revealed in the future.
