Pokémon Champions is the new destination for fans who want to build and train their Pokémon teams for competitions. Replacing the use of whichever mainline Pokémon title is on the market at the time, Champions has been out on Nintendo Switch (and playable on Switch 2) since early April. The game was also said to be coming to mobile at a later time, and now fans finally know when that will be: June 17, 2026. The word came from Serebii on X:
Serebii Update: Pre-registration is available for Pokémon Champions on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
— Serebii.net (@SerebiiNet) June 3, 2026
Expected release date is listed as June 17th 2026https://t.co/NWlAdn57aQ pic.twitter.com/XDBXUu9wE9
Champions has gotten some flack for a variety of different reasons since launch (including some questionable monetization practices), but as it reaches more devices and starts to solidify into the competitive platform of the future, hopefully the kinks will be ironed out. If you’re interested pre-registration on Android and iOS are now available. Why not let us know what you think of Champions so far down below and on social media!
