Pikmin 3 Deluxe Now The Highest Selling Pikmin Game

Pikmin 3 Deluxe was my first Pikmin game and I immiedately fell in love. I’m also not alone. Pikmin 3 Deluxe is now the best-selling entry of the series in Japan. Over 513k physial copies have been sold in Japan, surpassing the first game in the series which sold 502k during its entire lifespan. The game has also outpreformed the Wii U version of Pikmin 3 which sold about 232k units in Japan.

Though these sales numbers are spectacular when compared to Nintendo’s other IP, it gives fans hope that the heavily rumored Pikmin 4 is at least being considered.
