The final Splatfest is quickly approaching, and Nintendo has revealed which trio of stages will be featured during the event’s rotation. Unlike previous Splatfests, Splatoon players got a chance to vote for the maps they’d like to play on during the event, which will pit players from North America and Europe against one another. The top three choices turned out to be Walleye Warehouse, Kelp Dome, and for some inconceivable reason, Moray Towers.
Nintendo revealed the final tally of votes late last night via Twitter. Walleye Warehouse, perhaps the most iconic Splatoon stage because it was featured during the game’s beta test last year, was the most popular choice in Japan, while the sniping quagmire that is Moray Towers took the top spot in North America and Europe. Kelp Dome, meanwhile, was the winner among the various other regions participating in the event, which helps offset the presence of Moray Towers in the rotation.
The final Splatfest will begin this Friday at 2 AM Pacific Time and run through Sunday, July 24. Will you be taking part in the festivities? Did your favorite map make the cut? Do you hate Moray Towers as much as I do? Let us know in the comments!

Clearly a troll vote. It has to be. There’s seriously no other conceivable answer.
I legitimately may not play now because of Towers being in. The stage just simply isn’t fun – if they have a even half-competent charger and you don’t, there’s no point in even playing the round. When it’s in normal rotation, I routinely consciously pick a different game to play.
I personally have no problems with Kelp Dome, but I know a ton of people who loathe it because of its size.
Meh at Warehouse. It’s an ok stage. Probably also good to have one of the originals in there.
