Nintendo Direct: Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection Announced For Switch

Two classic Star Wars: Battlefront games come to Switch this March!

Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection was announced during this week’s Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase and is set to be launched on March 14, 2024. This release will include Star Wars Battlefront (2004) and its sequel Star Wars: Battlefront II (2005), as well as all previous bonus maps. This collection will also include an expanded Hero Assault mode and 64-player online battles.

In terms of maps, from Star Wars Battlefront fans can look forward to “Jabba’s Palace.” From Star Wars Battlefront II there will be bonus maps, Bespin, Cloud City, Rhen Var, Harbor, Rhen Var, Citadel, and Yavin 4: Arena. Finally, Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection also includes bonus heroes Asajj Ventress & Kit Fisto, who will be playable for the first time.
