Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has been officially announced for release on June 21, 2024. Along with the baseline game, it will also feature gameplay improvements, new quality-of-life elements, and two new routes: “Canon of Creation” and “Canon of Vengeance.” The latter introduces four new female demons called the Qadištu and a mysterious character named Yoko Hiromine.
Gameplay enhancements include refinements to the Da’at overworld desert, new quests, unique skills for ally demons, and over 40 new demons, including a debut demon named “Nahobiho.” The average playtime for one route is 80 hours, totaling 160 hours for both routes. Players can pre-order the game physically and digitally starting on February 27.
