Following last week’s scoop in CoroCoro magazine, The Pokémon Company has released another new trailer for Pokémon Sun and Moon, revealing six more Pokémon native to the Alola region.
As expected, both Mimikyu and Kiteruguma, the two Pokémon revealed last week in CoroCoro, appeared in the new trailer. Mimikyu will retain its name for the games’ English release, but Kiteruguma will now be known as Bewear. Bewear has the new ability Fluffy, which halves damage taken from contact moves but makes Bewear more susceptible to Fire-type attacks. Other new Pokémon revealed in the trailer include Mudsdale, a new Ground-type horse Pokémon, Comfey, a Fairy Pokémon that resembles a traditional Hawaiian lei, the cherry-like Bounsweet, and Wimpod, a cowardly Bug- and Water-type Pokémon with the new ability Wimp Out, which automatically switches Wimpod out when its health falls below half. You can see each of these new Pokémon in action in the trailer below.
Pokémon Sun and Moon will be launching later this year on November 18. Which new Pokémon from the Alola region has been your favorite so far? Let us know in the comments!
