During this past MAR10 Day, LEGO teased that it will be adding to its extremely popular line of Super Mario figures and playsets by introducing Donkey Kong into the fold. While it was known that DK would be getting the full interactive treatment like Mario, Luigi, and Peach before him, what was still hanging in the air was whether or not other members of his own extended family would be along for the ride. LEGO has revealed that DK will indeed be joined by other members of the Kong family:

It appears that Diddy, Funky, Dixie, and Cranky Kong will all be coming to the LEGO Super Mario lineup at some point. These figures don’t appear to be powered, but they certainly do an excellent job of capturing their likenesses. Once we have a firm release date for all of these we will let you know.
