Another Pokémon movie is on the horizon, which means yet another reason for the game developers to give players a special event Pokémon. The new movie is entitled Pokémon the Movie: Everyone’s Story and predominantly features Lugia, one of the legendary birds from the series’ second generation of games.
Naturally, this means that a special Lugia is being prepared for players of Pokémon Sun and Moon, as well as their Ultra counterparts. According to Japan’s CoroCoro magazine, This version of the legendary creature will be called “The Wind Lugia” and come equipped with a host of flying type moves: Aeroblast, Hurricane, Tailwind, and Defog. It’s also a nice bonus that this Lugia comes shows up at level 100 and features the damage-reducing Multiscale ability, as well.
Unfortunately, this event Pokémon has only been announced for Japan so far and is only available for those who pre-purchase tickets between April 13 and July 12. Those who do so will receive a code that has to be redeemed before September 30. So, if you happen to be in Japan and could use an exceptionally powerful new Pokémon, this might be a decent option.
