This week, the Yo-Kai Watch anime will debut on Disney XD, kicking off the major push behind Level-5’s upcoming 3DS game. If 3DS owners don’t already have enough reasons to check out the upcoming title, GameStop has announced a promotional pin available to those who preorder the game at participating locations in North America. We’ve mirrored an image of the pin below, which features the popular character Jibanyan!
Yo-Kai Watch has been a massive success in Japan since the series debuted, rivaled only by Pokémon in popularity. The series has spawned a number of spin-offs including Yo-Kai Watch Busters, Yo-Kai Watch: Three Kingdoms and the upcoming Wii U title Yo-Kai Watch Dance: Just Dance Special Version. It will be very interesting to see if the series manages to make nearly as big an impact in the US as it has in its native country.
