Wii had quite a few memorable titles, including THQ’s de Blob series of games. The platformers starred a blob of a hero who brought his world back to life by splashing it with color. Think Splatoon without the shooting and you’re halfway there! Earlier this year, THQ Nordic announced a port of the original de Blob for Switch and it’s coming very soon! Give the latest trailer a gander:
de Blob Remastered came to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC last year, boasting improved visuals. While it had been reported that developer BlitWorks would be porting the title to Switch, a release date had yet to be revealed… until now, that is! The game will be launching both digitally in the eShop and physically June 26, with an MSRP of $29.99. Definitely keep this one on your radar, as the original was a very fun time, indeed. Fingers crossed that the sequel also makes the leap to Switch!
