This weekend, Splatoon 2 will arrive worldwide on Nintendo Switch, much to the delight of players around the world. The success of the game’s Wii U predecessor came as a bit of a surprise, so much so that accompanying merchandise outside of a trio of Amiibo was fairly scarce. This time around, things are quite a bit different, with Splatoon 2 getting a massive push through art books, Amiibo, action figures and even a brand-new anime from CoroCoro!
Details on the anime are slim at this time. The cartoon will be based on the manga, which was originally published in CoroCoro magazine. The manga will appear exclusively on the publisher’s YouTube channel starting September 12. Hopefully a subtitled video will quickly follow!
