4. Donkey Kong 64
Donkey Kong’s 64-bit debut has a little more rust showing than it did back in 1999. And while the title isn’t nearly as well-regarded today as it was upon release, it’s presence on the N64 Classic Edition would be an important one. After all, developer Rare played a pivotal role in the system’s lifespan, and, of their collect-a-thon based platform games, DK64 is the only one Nintendo still owns the rights to. It might not have the same level of regard as Banjo-Kazooie, but it did help inspire Playtonic’s Yooka-Laylee. As an added bonus, it also boasts the greatest video game rap song of all-time.
Um…I can’t see any list here in both Firefox and Chrome browsers?!
Oh nevermind I guess we just click on the page numbers. There should be some navigation arrows, or a button saying “Next” or something.
Yeah good luck with GoldenEye…We can only dream. Anyway assuming it and pretty much every other RARE game WON’T be on the system my list is very similar but has a few substitutions:
1) Super Mario 64
2) Zelda: Ocarina of Time
3) Zelda: Majora’s Mask
4) Mario Kart 64
5) Donkey Kong 64
6) Star Fox 64
7) Wave Race 64
8) Pilotwings 64
9) 1080 Snowboarding
10) F-Zero X
This list omits Mischief Makers, therefore it is incomplete.
