What are we talking about here when we say video game inspired cartoon? What is the run time required? Can it be like 23 episodes? Or would it have to be something longer like 100+ episodes? Could it just be a short lived cartoon based on a video game?
The question is “What is…?” so they did not specify. I would go with any and all are free game.
Urkel Sonic/Sonic X: Unlike other cute video mascots turned cartoon stars, there was some semblence of a plot that did not rot out your teeth with all it’s sugary-sweet cuteness (well, just a little). Viewtiful Joe would have been up there but honestly, they waisted a good opertunity… …

Haha, I totally agree! I learned about Pokémon at some random party, and then I had to get the game. Then I learned there was an anime and, well, I’ve been a Pokémaniac since.
As always, Viewtiful Joe deserves a mention.
