Last week, we reported that a Toon Link costume will be released as free DLC for the soon-to-be-released Monster Hunter Generations, but it looks like that isn’t the only Nintendo character on the way. Hunters will also get dress up their cat-like Palico characters in costumes inspired by the cast of Star Fox.
The DLC will give players access to an armor set based on Fox’s uniform and headset and a weapon that resembles his gun, though it’s actually a sword because laser blasters probably don’t fit too well into the Monster Hunter universe. Also, judging by the trailer, several other headpieces will let you round out the crew: a bird mask for Falco, a frog hood for Slippy, and a bunny hat for Peppy.
The game comes out this week on July 15, so you won’t have to wait too long to dress a cat like a fox and make it battle extremely dangerous monsters.
