Recent Monster Hunter games have received quite a few DLC costume crossovers with other major game franchises. The latest entry, Monster Hunter Generations, scheduled to launch on July 16 in North America and Europe, will be getting one such costume that will undoubtedly please Zelda fans: Toon Link from Wind Waker will make an appearance as an optional skin for Felynes, the frequently funny cat creatures who have long filled support roles in the franchise but will now be playable in Generations. As you can see in the video below, Toon Link wears the car ears, tail, and whiskers quite well.
The costume will be available for free when Monster Hunter Generations launches. What other characters, Nintendo or otherwise, should also serve as the inspiration for Monster Hunter outfits? Obviously, the correct answer is Waluigi.
