For over 30 years now, the Super Mario series has been enthralling gamers with its whimsical stages and refined gameplay. Since its earliest days, the franchise has been emblematic of Nintendo’s approach to game design, and that trend has only continued with the release of Super Mario Maker, a robust and flexible tool set that gives fans the chance to finally create their own Super Mario courses (and serves as a fitting celebration of the series’ long and storied history).

Of those, SMB3. But the right answer is Yoshi’s Island.
Yoshi’s Island doesn’t count. :P
That is the right answer.
It does too count! lol I know what you’re getting at, though. Mario games where Mario is the playable character. I voted for the lost levels only because I thought the challenge was great. It’s too hard to pick just one, but I suppose as I think back to 1991 and the first time I plugged in my new SNES and saw Mario World…Wow. I like them all in different ways though.
