It was a little odd to see spin-off titles Yo-Kai Watch Blasters: Red Cat Corps and White Dog Squad hitting 3DS before the third installment of the mainline series, particularly considering the game has been out in Japan for years now (since 2016, to be exact). Heck, it’s been out so long that Yo-Kai Watch 4 has already been announced for Switch! Peep the Japanese trailer below, from back in the day:
Many wondered whether Nintendo and developer Level-5 would ever bring Yo-Kai Watch 3 to the West, but thankfully the waiting game is over: the game has been confirmed for both North America and Europe! I said the waiting game is over, but in truth there’s still some time to go for the game to actually release, however. It’s anticipated to drop on February 8 in North America, but Europe has a vague “winter” release window. The game will have both a “Sushi” version as well as a “Tempura” offering.
