Thanks to the work of independent studios, the point and click adventure genre was effectively raised from the dead. Now, the style of game is very much alive and well and an example of it will soon be coming to Switch in the form of Yesterday Origins, developed by Pundulo Studios.
In the game, players assume the role of two immortals, John Yesterday and his partner Pauline Petit, who are on the hunt for an alchemic artifact. The journey will take the pair around the world and, thanks to their immortal status, across time as well. Altogether, the game promises 10 unique locations to visit. Yesterday Origins is being published by Microids and will be coming out on May 31. Physical and digital releases are planned.
