Those of you looking for the best deal on Xenoblades Chronicles X for Wii U upon its release will probably want to be taking a look at the Dell Home website at some point this week. It seems Dell has gone a little crazy with the number 15, slashing the game’s pre-release price from $59.99 to $50.99 (15 percent discount) and also offering a $15 gift card on the same deal when you pre-order!
Discounted Nintendo software upon release is a rarity, but discounted pre-release software is almost unheard of, making this an exceptional offer.
The gift card is basically a Dell promotional e-gift card and is only redeemable on the Dell Home website. The card is typically received via email between 10 and 20 days after dispatch of Xenoblade Chronicles X and, once received, gives you 90 days to spend at the website on whatever you like.
Considering that Dell Home also stocks most new and top rated releases for all major gaming platforms, this little $15 gem could then go toward your next gaming purchase. Maybe a little bit of Mario Tennis for Wii U? Or even Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros for 3DS? Either way, it makes for very happy holidays!
The much anticipated Xenoblades Chronicles X has received some excellent reviews in Japan since its release in April and is set to hit US shores on December 4. You can find the deal here.

Do they have anything on the special edition?
I wish they would send over a few Xenoblade Chronicle X Wii U’s our way. That would be my best purchase.
Maybe Amazon will do a discount when it gets closer to launch. Every now and then there are some decent discounts on new Nintendo games, but it’s kind of rare. Recently they had Majora’s Mask 3D for $30, but of course that’s not a “new” release.
