Calling all Nintendo fanatics and sneakerheads and people somewhere in between: today, June 3, is the launch of Nintendo’s collaboration with Vans for a pretty sweet lineup of products, all exclusive to Vans. You can shop the collection here!
From lace-ups, to slip-ons, to hi-tops, from backpacks and socks to hats, sweatshirts, and tees, there’s a plethora of goods for sale featuring retro patterns inspired by Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, and more. Yours truly made my way to a Vans store nearest to me and picked up a rad pair of Zelda slip-ons, along with a tee, sweatshirt, and socks. The following is a post from my Instagram that I made as soon as I got my shoes home:
I didn’t find out until I got to the counter at the store that the first 25 people who bought something from the collection got a free Vans x Nintendo six-pin set! Quite a cool giveaway, and the pins are of high quality.
