Sega’s Valkyria Chronicles franchise has a very faithful fanbase. Combining turn-based battles with third-person shooting elements, the series takes place during an alternate history version of World War II on a continent known as Europa. The franchise has yet to appear on a Nintendo platform, but that will all change when Valkyria Chronicles 4 arrives on Switch in 2018!
Despite missing the recent spinoff, veteran composer Hitoshi Sakimoto will return for Valkyria Chronicles 4. While the aural experience might be similar to previous titles in the series, Nintendo fans that have yet to experience Europa will be happy to know that the new title will focus on a brand-new cast of characters, making the game seemingly new player friendly.
Skeptical fans might hesitate to get excited for Valkyria Chronicles 4. After all, the third game in the franchise was released exclusively in Japan. However, Sega has confirmed Valkyria Chronicles 4 will see release in North America and Europe, this time around.
