During the Nintendo Nindies Showcase Summer 2018 a promising new game dubbed Untitled Goose Game was revealed for Switch. At the time, it was promised for an “early 2019” release. Well, it looks like “early” has been dropped and now the release window is instead simply “2019.” Don’t believe us? Watch the video from developer House House and see for yourself:
A bit of news: due to circumstances beyond our control — see video — our goose game will not be arriving until later in 2019. This means we’ll be able to make the best goose game possible! Thanks for your patience — we’ll get this goose to you as soon as we can. pic.twitter.com/8BqbYw0wQb

That’s right, not only is Untitled Goose Game delayed, but it looks like one of the titular fowl is to blame! That or, like, production issues. We’re betting it really was the goose, though. Whatever the reason is, the game is delayed and the world is a sadder place because of it. Take heart, though, as Untitled Goose Game will hopefully still meet its new 2019 release window.
