Wales Interactive has announced that it is bringing Typoman to Switch on February 22.
Typoman, released on Wii U in 2015, is a fairly unique puzzle platformer which takes players on a journey to explore the Power of Words in an everlasting battle between good and evil. In the words of Wales Interative:
Wield the power of altering the world by creating, changing or destroying words
Solve ingenious and challenging puzzles with a unique aesthetic mix of typography and pen & ink graphics
Captivating, carefully drafted, on-the-fly told story using witty word puzzles and puns
Surreal, atmospheric game world
Distinct soundtrack specifically composed for the game
The game won a number of awards on release and, as with many Wii U ports arriving on Switch, is likely hoping to get a second life on Nintendo’s new platform. You can check out a trailer for the game from 2016 below:
Typoman will be available for a limited-time discounted price of $10.39 when it releases on Switch’s eShop on February 22.
