While Wave Race fans have been waiting for a new franchise release since 2001’s Blue Storm on GameCube, Zordix’s Aqua Moto Racing Utopia has helped fill the gap rather nicely. Though we’ve known for some time that the developer would bring the game to Switch, alongside its companion title Snow Moto Racing Freedom, it comes as a bit of a surprise that both titles will also be offered physically.
The information comes from a pair of retailer listings from EB Games Australia. Since the system debuted, Switch has become a bit of a haven for physical releases of indie games. Titles like The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ and Cave Story+ have helped the system fill out an impressive library of indie titles. The pair from Zordix should certainly make for a nice addition!
