Have you heard of Tunic? It’s an adventure game that pays homage to The Legend of Zelda while building its own identity. It’s a true delight and is available now on Nintendo Switch—digitally. If you’ve been hoping for a physical version of Tunic, you’re in luck, because the folks over at Fangamer will be putting together a cartridge and box Deluxe Edition this summer. Here’s what the Deluxe Edition will look like:

Available for pre-order right now, here’s what comes with the game (as quoted from the site):

  • Full-length staple-bound manual with the full contents of the in-game manual (full of spoilers!)
  • Mini-manual with basic instructions (and no spoilers)
  • Foldout map of some areas and dungeons
  • Sticker sheets with iconography from the game
  • Digital download code for a copy of the complete soundtrack by Lifeformed and Janice Kwan

If you’re wondering what’s the deal with two versions of the manual, Tunic wears its inspiration proudly on its sleeve by lovingly mimicking the looks of the instruction manual from the original The Legend of Zelda game. You find its pages throughout the world of Tunic and, as the text above conveys, there are secrets to be had. Best to include a spoiler-free version for those who want to know how to play without having the story ruined. The game will sell for $45 and is expected to ship by July 28. There are all sorts of other Tunic goodies available on the Fangamer site, so be sure to give them a look.
