Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will be significant in that it is the first time that the additional content from the PlayStation 3 version of the game will be available to play in English. However, it turns out that not all of the original voice actors will be reprising their roles.
Footage of the English content was shown at the 2018 Tokyo Game Show depicting Yuri Lowell with a different voice actor than Troy Baker, who apparently knew nothing beforehand about being replaced.
….wow. Yeah, had no idea about this. Was never approached to do any additional lines/scenes. Pretty gutted, to be honest. Love this character so much, would’ve jumped at the chance to step into those boots again. https://t.co/nwDqJGAoWH

As seen in his Tweet, Baker made his disappointment pretty clear, though Bandai Namco hasn’t said anything about why they didn’t approach him to voice Yuri in the additional content.
Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition releases on Nintendo Switch January 11, 2019. Will you be adding it to your Switch library? What are your thoughts on Baker being replaced in the additional content?
