Nintendo recently uploaded a new video on their YouTube channel in which Yoshiaki Koizumi, producer of Super Mario Odyssey, answered a number of questions about both the game and the franchise in general. Some of the questions happened to explore some interesting territory.
In addition to discussing Mario’s unique anatomy, how Pauline’s comeback has impacted Mario’s love life, and even some aspects of Odyssey‘s development, Koizumi tackled a very important question that has plagued fans for years, “Is Toad’s mushroom a hat or a head?”
It turns out it is, in fact, just his head.
